America’s Canine Educator

This YouTube channel is one of the best dog training channels out there. Tom Davis does not hide or edit out the nitty gritty. Dog training is not always unicorns and butterflies. Because of his raw content, I have learnt more from him than any other trainer over the internet.

Cheri Wulff Lucas

Her philosophies are extremely similar to mine and focus a lot on relationship, leadership and communication. You could learn A LOT about dog psychology by watching her channel.

This is a very good channel for your basic obedience and puppy stuff. They are one of Canada’s top obedience champions, so you can definitely take their advice on many training topics.

For the people that just don’t have that much time. Learn more about how to improve your relationship with your dog while commuting, while doing errands or cleaning the house.

This podcast is another one of the best dog training podcasts out there, especially if you are interested in dog sports and working dogs.  If you want to really get some insight on who are some of the other best dog trainers in the world, these guys set the precedent and have conversations with many of them.

Mindful Dog Talk

This podcast is created in my hometown of Toronto. Hannah has a knack for explaining why dogs behave the way they do, and the common miscommunications that happen between humans and dogs. If you’ve ever done training with me, you will recognize many of the philosophies and explanations as we are are on the same wave length. Most of the time when I listen to her I am almost always thinking “Yasss girl!!”

Ivan Balibanov is the top competitive obedience champions in the world. Many trainers will go to learn from him as he has decades of experience in raising and training dogs. His podcast is full of very interesting interviews and topics including controversial topics that are debated between him and other well known professional trainers.

While he can be a little abrasive, his message still rings true. Robert Cabral has experience in every aspect of canine behavior training including competitive obedience, protection dogs, pet dogs as well as teaching canine behavior theory to animal shelters nationwide through the Bound Angels University program held at the Los Angeles Animal Shelters.
