(FOR CURRENT CLIENTS ONLY – OR people who have worked with a specific trainer listed in sign up sheet)

This is a great opportunity to work on your dog’s leash reactivity around other dogs and people in a controlled environment. Come on down and have some fun with other like minded individuals who understand you, and your dog’s need for space.

***This reactive dog workshop is meant for people who have already been working on their dog’s leash reactivity towards people and/or dogs with a trainer (either with Hairy Tales or a trainer listed in sign up sheet). This is because in order for this training session to be successful, everyone who comes already needs to have a basic understanding and knowledge of what they need to do to help correct their dogs reactivity. If you have not had any training yet on your dog’s reactivity, please book an initial consultation with me first before signing up for this workshop.

What to Expect During This Class

The purpose of this workshop is to continue working on your dog’s reactivity by doing various exercises around other dogs and people with the supervision and help of a professional trainer. It’s also a non-judgmental, safe-space environment, where you can meet other dog owners who are going through the same thing as you. Together we will help each other navigate through your dogs  reactivity.

6 WEEK COURSE

$450 + taxes | Starts Weekly on Thursday, April 13th, 2023 – 7:15-8:15pm (See Class Dates Below)

This leash reactivity class is designed to help dogs that are reactive on leash with people, dogs, or both.

What Is Leash Reactivity?

Leash reactivity is when a dog reacts intensely towards stimuli in their surroundings while on a leash. This could be due to fear, frustration, excitement or all of the above.

What You Will Learn In This Class

Leash reactivity is usually created by a miscommunication between human and dog. In this class, you will learn:

  • How to improve your communication and relationship with your dog.
  • Techniques and tools to help you manage your dogs reactivity.
  • Loose leash walking skills.
  • How to set your dog up for success in the future when it comes to leashed greetings with dogs and/ or humans.

This is a great opportunity to work on improving your dogs leash reactivity around other dogs and people in a controlled environment.

This class is a small class of up to 6 dogs so you can still get the one on one help you need.
